Oversapiens is an app in which AI reads your records alongside you and answers. So when you ask the AI — and when a screen builds a summary or suggestion on its own — the records you can see in the app travel through the Oversapiens server to an AI company. Health and mental-wellbeing records go too.

• Before first use we show you, on one screen, what goes where, and ask for your consent. The switches in Settings › Privacy let you hold back each kind (section 4).
• Baseten, which runs our default AI (Oversapiens One), does not keep what it receives and does not train on it. The Oversapiens server deletes AI answers after 2 minutes.
• While "Automatic conversation organization" is on, we first ask TypeSafe (United States) whether a finished conversation holds anything worth remembering. TypeSafe does not train on what it receives, but it may keep it for as long as necessary (sections 4 and 12).
• When you sign in, your records are encrypted on this device before they sync. Only you hold the key, so we cannot read them.
• We do not sell personal information. While you use the free plan an ad may appear under an AI answer; for that, a few words taken from your question plus your country and language go to an ad company (section 7). We never place ads on conversations about body or mind.

The rest of this page sets out exactly what is handled where, and what you can decide.

오버사피엔스는 AI가 내 기록을 같이 보고 답하는 앱이에요. 그래서 AI에게 물을 때, 그리고 화면이 스스로 요약이나 제안을 만들 때, 앱에서 보이는 기록이 오버사피엔스 서버를 거쳐 AI 회사로 가요. 건강·마음 기록도 함께 가요.

• 무엇이 어디로 가는지는 처음 쓸 때 한 장으로 보여 드리고 동의를 받아요. 설정 › 프라이버시의 스위치로 종류별로 막을 수 있어요(4절).
• 기본 AI(Oversapiens One)를 돌리는 Baseten은 받은 내용을 보관하지 않고 학습에 쓰지 않아요. 오버사피엔스 서버는 AI 답을 2분 뒤 지워요.
• 「대화 자동 정리」가 켜져 있으면, 끝난 대화에 기억할 것이 있는지를 TypeSafe(미국)에 먼저 물어요. TypeSafe는 받은 내용으로 학습하지 않지만, 필요한 동안 보관할 수 있어요(4절·12절).
• 로그인하면 기록을 이 기기에서 암호화한 뒤 동기화해요. 열쇠는 사용자에게만 있어서 우리도 내용을 읽을 수 없어요.
• 개인정보를 팔지 않아요. 무료로 쓰는 동안 AI 답 아래에 광고가 붙을 수 있고, 그때는 질문에서 뽑은 낱말과 나라·언어가 광고 회사로 가요(7절). 몸·마음 이야기에는 광고를 붙이지 않아요.

This policy covers the Oversapiens iPhone app with its widgets and extensions, the Oversapiens server the app calls, and oversapiens.com. Information that goes to a ChatGPT account you connect yourself, or to an AI company you connect with your own API key, is governed by that company's policy.

Different kinds of data stay in different places. This table is the summary at a glance.

The app does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not link you with other companies' data to track you. We have not put any crash-reporting or analytics SDK in the app.

앱은 광고 식별자(IDFA)를 쓰지 않고, 사용자를 다른 회사의 데이터와 이어 붙여 추적하지 않아요. 충돌 보고·분석 도구(SDK)를 앱에 넣지 않았어요.

One rule governs this: the AI sees what you see in the app. The AI reads these records alongside you when it answers:

• What you write in the AI bar, your recent conversation, and the screen you are looking at
• The name you go by, your daily rhythm and your nudge intensity
• Names, times and places of your schedule, goals, routines and alarms; time remaining; your sleep goal
• Note titles and text (when you ask, search, or when notes are auto-organised)
• Memories and profile details you saved yourself
• Body records — from the Health app: sleep stages, heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen, breathing disturbances and workouts; meals and how you feel; from the Body tab: measurements, diagnoses, medications, allergies, blood type, family history, organ-donor status, assistive devices and implants, habits, restrictions, things in progress (including pregnancy), your next expected period, and past events and document titles
• Mind records (stress, mood, self-understanding tests) and the records used for your end-of-day review
• The photo you take to stop an alarm — only when your phone cannot recognise it itself (section 6)
• Photos and files you attach for the AI
• The web page you are viewing in the in-app browser, and — when a task you give needs it — content from sites you are signed in to in the in-app browser (such as email)
• Your in-app browser history — as you choose in Settings › Privacy › "Let AI see browser history" (it starts at "ask each time")
• Distance and travel time for directions (if you allow location — section 8)
• Your onboarding survey answers

The "emergency contact" in the Body tab is never sent to the AI.

When it goes. When you ask the AI, and when a screen asks the AI on its own. Lines such as the sleep summary, today's suggestion, the mental-state reading and the end-of-day review are written by the AI to fill the screen even if you did not ask. "Auto-organise notes" sends note text to be organised without a question. "Automatic conversation organization" sends what you said in a conversation once more after the conversation ends, to read it for things worth remembering long term (such as habits, health, work and relationships) and save them to your memories. Answers you type yourself to the onboarding questions are read the same way.

Where it goes. With the default AI, Oversapiens One, it goes through the Oversapiens server to Baseten (United States). While you use the default AI, "Automatic conversation organization" first asks TypeSafe (United States) only whether the finished conversation holds anything worth remembering, before sending it to Baseten — for this, what you said in that conversation and the AI line right before each of your lines go through the Oversapiens server to TypeSafe. If the answer is "nothing", that conversation is not sent to Baseten again. If you connect ChatGPT it goes to OpenAI (United States); if you connect another AI company with your own API key it goes to that company — those two go straight from your device, not through our server. When the AI searches the web, the search terms go to Serper (section 12).

You can switch it off. The switches in Settings › Privacy all start on. Turning one off does this:

• "Send names of plans and records": instead of the names you gave schedule items, goals, routines, alarms and meals, only the kind (such as "an event") is sent. Times are still sent. There is no switch that removes your schedule itself from the AI.
• "Send body records", "Send mind records and end-of-day reviews", "Send proof photos": those records or photos do not go to the AI. The AI answers without them and, where relevant, says it was not given them.
• "Auto-organise notes": notes are no longer sent to be organised without a question. If you ask the AI about a note directly, that note is sent.
• "Automatic conversation organization": finished conversations are no longer sent to be read again, and nothing goes to TypeSafe. You can still talk to the AI as usual, and anything you ask it to remember during a conversation is saved then and there.

What you type into the AI bar and the files you attach are the question itself, so they go regardless of these switches.

The same question is asked once. When a screen asks the same question with the same material again, the app reuses the answer it just received from device memory. It is not stored on a server and disappears when the app restarts.

Your connection IP address. When the Oversapiens server calls the AI, web search, page reading or ad company, Cloudflare — which runs our server — attaches your connection IP address to the request. Our code cannot remove it. These companies may therefore receive your IP address.

The AI can send requests for you. When you hand the AI a task in the in-app browser, it can send requests to that site using your signed-in session. It does not send them to sites you have locked.

• 앱 안 브라우저에서 보고 있는 웹 페이지, 그리고 AI에게 시킨 일에 필요할 때 앱 안 브라우저에 로그인된 사이트(메일 등)의 내용
• 앱 안 브라우저 방문 기록 — 설정 › 프라이버시 › 「브라우저 방문 기록을 AI가 보기」에서 고른 대로(처음엔 그때그때 물어봐요)

몸 탭의 「응급 연락처」는 AI에 보내지 않아요.

언제 가나요. AI에게 물을 때, 그리고 화면이 스스로 AI에게 물을 때예요. 수면 한 줄·오늘 처방·멘탈 해석·하루 정산 같은 글은 묻지 않아도 화면을 채우려고 AI가 만들어요. 「노트 자동 정리」는 묻지 않아도 노트 본문을 정리하려고 보내요. 「대화 자동 정리」는 대화가 끝난 뒤, 그 대화에서 내가 한 말을 한 번 다시 읽어 오래 기억할 것(습관·건강·일·관계 같은 것)을 「기억」에 적어 두려고 보내요. 온보딩 물음에 직접 적은 답도 같은 방법으로 읽어요.

어디로 가나요. 기본 AI 「Oversapiens One」을 쓰면 오버사피엔스 서버를 거쳐 Baseten(미국)으로 가요. 기본 AI를 쓰는 동안 「대화 자동 정리」는 끝난 대화를 Baseten으로 보내기 전에, 그 대화에 기억할 것이 있는지만 TypeSafe(미국)에 먼저 물어요 — 이때 그 대화에서 내가 한 말과 바로 앞 AI의 말이 오버사피엔스 서버를 거쳐 TypeSafe로 가요. 「없다」는 답이 오면 그 대화는 Baseten으로 다시 보내지 않아요. ChatGPT를 연결하면 OpenAI(미국)로, 자기 API 키로 다른 AI 회사를 붙이면 그 회사로 가요 — 이 둘은 우리 서버를 거치지 않고 기기에서 곧바로 가요. AI가 웹을 검색하면 검색어는 Serper로 가요(12절).

끌 수 있어요. 설정 › 프라이버시의 스위치는 처음엔 모두 켜져 있어요. 끄면 이렇게 바뀌어요.

• 「일정·기록 이름 보내기」: 일정·목표·루틴·알람·먹은 것에 붙인 이름 대신 「일정」 같은 종류만 가요. 시각은 그대로 가요. 일정 자체를 AI에게서 빼는 스위치는 없어요.
• 「몸 기록 보내기」 「마음 기록·하루 정산 보내기」 「인증 사진 보내기」: 그 기록·사진이 AI로 가지 않아요. AI는 그 기록 없이 답하고, 필요하면 「보내지 않기로 한 기록」이라고 말해요.
• 「노트 자동 정리」: 묻지 않아도 노트를 정리하려고 보내는 일이 멈춰요. AI에게 노트를 직접 물으면 그 노트는 가요.
• 「대화 자동 정리」: 끝난 대화를 다시 읽으려고 보내는 일이 멈춰요. TypeSafe로도 가지 않아요. 대화 자체는 그대로 할 수 있고, 대화 중에 「기억해 줘」라고 한 것은 그 자리에서 적어요.

AI 바에 직접 쓴 말과 붙인 파일은 질문 그 자체라 스위치와 상관없이 가요.

같은 물음은 한 번만. 화면이 같은 재료로 같은 물음을 다시 하면, 앱은 방금 받은 답을 기기 메모리에서 다시 써요. 서버에 저장하는 것이 아니고, 앱을 다시 켜면 사라져요.

접속 IP 주소. 오버사피엔스 서버가 AI·웹 검색·페이지 읽기·광고 회사를 부를 때, 서버를 운영하는 Cloudflare가 사용자의 접속 IP 주소를 요청에 붙여요. 우리 코드로는 이것을 지울 수 없어요. 그래서 이 회사들이 사용자의 IP 주소를 함께 받을 수 있어요.

AI가 대신 요청을 보낼 수 있어요. 앱 안 브라우저에서 AI에게 일을 맡기면, AI가 사용자의 로그인 상태로 그 사이트에 요청을 보낼 수 있어요. 사용자가 잠근 사이트에는 보내지 않아요.

Records about your health and mind are sensitive information that the law protects separately, so we set them out separately. More detail is in the Health Data Notice.

• What: read from the Health app — only the types you allow: workouts (with routes), heart rate, resting heart rate, HRV, VO2 max, sleep stages, respiratory rate, breathing disturbances, sleep apnea notifications, blood oxygen, wrist temperature; basic details (date of birth, sex, blood type); medications you take; clinical records (lab results, conditions, prescriptions, immunizations, procedures and allergies your providers sent, if you have connected Health Records in the Health app); and any other Health app types you allow. Entered by you — body records (weight, body fat, blood pressure, diagnoses, medications, allergies, blood type, family history, organ-donor status, assistive devices, periods, pregnancy, genetic tests and similar) and mind records (stress, mood, self-understanding tests). Workouts you finish in the app are written to the Health app.
• Why: to show them on screen, and so the AI can answer and summarise in line with your own records.
• How long: on this device until you delete them. When they go to the AI, the Oversapiens server keeps only the answer text for 2 minutes and Baseten keeps nothing. What you say about your health or mind in a conversation also goes to TypeSafe while "Automatic conversation organization" is on, and TypeSafe may keep it for as long as necessary (section 12). Once you sign in they sync encrypted.
• What we never do: use them for advertising or marketing, including choosing ads; train AI on them; store Health app values in iCloud; sell them.
• Consent and refusal: before first use the consent screen shows "Health and mind records go too. You can leave them out and still use the app as usual." as its own bold line and lets you choose between two buttons — "I am 16 or older, and I agree" or "I am 16 or older, and I agree without health and mind records". If you leave them out, you start with "Send body records" and "Send mind records and end-of-day reviews" turned off. After that, turning off "Send body records" or "Send mind records and end-of-day reviews" in Settings › Privacy stops them going to the AI. The app keeps working with them off, and the AI answers without them. You can stop the app reading the Health app in iPhone Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices.

• 무엇을: 건강 앱에서 읽는 것 — 허용한 종류만. 운동(경로 포함)·심박·안정 심박·HRV·VO2max·수면 단계·호흡수·호흡 장애·수면 무호흡 알림·혈중 산소·손목 체온, 기본 정보(생년월일·성별·혈액형), 복용 중인 약, 진료 기록(건강 앱의 「건강 기록」을 연결했을 때 병원이 보낸 검사 결과·진단·처방·예방접종·시술·알레르기 기록), 그 밖에 건강 앱에서 허용한 항목. 앱에 직접 적는 것 — 몸 기록(체중·체지방·혈압·진단·복용·알레르기·혈액형·가족력·장기기증·보조기·생리·임신·유전 검사 등)과 마음 기록(스트레스·기분·자기 이해 검사). 앱에서 끝낸 운동은 건강 앱에 써요.
• 왜: 화면에 보여 주고, AI가 내 기록에 맞게 답하고 요약하려고요.
• 얼마나: 이 기기에는 직접 지울 때까지 있어요. AI로 갈 때 오버사피엔스 서버는 답 글만 2분 두고, Baseten은 보관하지 않아요. 대화에서 건강이나 마음에 대해 직접 한 말은 「대화 자동 정리」가 켜져 있으면 TypeSafe로도 가고, TypeSafe는 그것을 필요한 동안 보관할 수 있어요(12절). 로그인하면 암호화된 채 동기화돼요.
• 하지 않는 것: 광고·마케팅에 쓰지 않아요. 광고를 고를 때도 쓰지 않아요. AI 학습에 쓰지 않아요. 건강 앱 값을 iCloud에 저장하지 않아요. 팔지 않아요.
• 동의와 거부: 처음 쓸 때 동의 화면이 「건강·마음 기록도 함께 가요. 빼고 시작해도 앱은 그대로 쓸 수 있어요.」를 따로 굵게 보여 드리고, 두 버튼 중 하나를 고르게 해요 — 「만 16세 이상이고, 동의해요」 또는 「만 16세 이상이고, 건강·마음 기록은 빼고 동의해요」. 빼고 동의하면 「몸 기록 보내기」 「마음 기록·하루 정산 보내기」가 꺼진 채 시작해요. 동의한 뒤에도 설정 › 프라이버시의 「몸 기록 보내기」 「마음 기록·하루 정산 보내기」를 끄면 AI로 가지 않아요. 꺼도 앱은 그대로 쓸 수 있고, AI는 그 기록 없이 답해요. 건강 앱 읽기는 아이폰 설정 › 건강 › 데이터 접근 및 기기에서 멈출 수 있어요.

• Photos and files you attach for the AI go to the AI you chose (section 4, "Where it goes").
• The photo you take to stop an alarm: to stop an alarm with a photo mission you photograph something you chose in advance. The photo is stored on this device as a proof photo and, once you sign in, synced encrypted. The AI judges whether the photo matches.
  • On iOS 27 or later with Apple Intelligence, your phone looks at the photo itself. The photo is not sent to the AI.
  • Otherwise, or if the phone cannot give an answer, the photo itself is sent to the AI you chose for judging. With the default AI it goes through the Oversapiens server to Baseten (United States).
  • Before sending, the app redraws the photo and removes where and on which device it was taken.
  • A photo sent to the AI for judging is kept neither by our server nor by Baseten. The server keeps only the verdict text (a word or two, such as "sink · match") for 2 minutes.
  • If you turn off "Send proof photos" in Settings › Privacy, the photo is not sent. If your phone then cannot recognise it, the verdict is "could not check" and the alarm still stops.
• Proof photos for schedule items are not judged. They are stored on the device and, once you sign in, only synced encrypted.

• AI에 붙인 사진·파일은 고른 AI로 가요(4절의 「어디로 가나요」).
• 알람을 끌 때 찍은 사진: 사진 미션을 고른 알람은 끌 때 미리 정한 것을 찍어야 해요. 찍은 사진은 인증 사진으로 이 기기에 저장되고, 로그인하면 암호화된 채 동기화돼요. 이 사진이 정한 것과 맞는지는 AI가 판정해요.
  • iOS 27 이상이고 Apple Intelligence를 쓰는 폰은 폰이 사진을 직접 봐요. 이때 사진은 AI로 가지 않아요.
  • 그렇지 않은 폰이거나 폰이 답을 내지 못하면, 사진 그대로 고른 AI로 보내 판정해요. 기본 AI면 오버사피엔스 서버를 거쳐 Baseten(미국)으로 가요.
  • 보내기 전에 사진을 다시 그려 촬영 위치·기기 정보를 떼요.
  • 판정하러 AI로 보낸 사진은 우리 서버도 Baseten도 남기지 않아요. 서버에는 판정 글(「세면대 · 맞음」 같은 한두 낱말)만 2분 남아요.
  • 설정 › 프라이버시의 「인증 사진 보내기」를 끄면 사진을 보내지 않아요. 그때 폰이 직접 알아보지 못하면 판정은 「확인 못 함」이 되고, 알람은 그대로 꺼져요.
• 일정 인증 사진은 판정에 쓰지 않아요. 기기에 저장하고, 로그인하면 암호화된 채 동기화만 해요.

While you use the free plan, a single ad may appear under an AI answer. Paid plans have no ads. The Oversapiens server decides whether an ad is requested, and switching ads on or off is a server setting.

• What is sent: to choose an ad we send the ad company (1) words the AI took from this question (at most 8), (2) your country (a country code worked out from where you connect), (3) your language, and (4) a random number made fresh for each request. We do not send your whole question, the answer, your account number or a device number. As section 4 explains, Cloudflare may attach your connection IP address to the request.
• No ads on body or mind conversations. An AI that reads your question first judges whether it is about body or mind; the server calls the ad company only when it is about neither, and never when that judgement is missing. Health app values, body records and mind records never go to the ad company.
• Who receives it: Thrads Corp (Thrad, United States · contact@thrad.ai). Thrad runs an auction among several ad buyers to choose an ad, so the values above may reach those buyers too.
• The "ad was shown" signal is also sent by our server. Your phone contacts the ad company directly only if you tap the ad to open it. We do not load ad images (text ads only).
• Why am I seeing this ad: in the ad's "···" menu, "Why am I seeing this ad" shows, inside the app, the values used to choose it (words, country, language). "Hide ad" closes it, and "Report ad" opens a report email to support@oversapiens.com that you can check before sending.
• How long the ad company keeps it: Thrad's public policy covers only website visitors, so we could not confirm how long it keeps the values it receives with an ad request. We will add it here once confirmed.
• To avoid ads: on a paid plan the app does not request ads.

무료로 쓰는 동안 AI 답 아래에 광고 한 장이 붙을 수 있어요. 유료 등급에는 광고가 없어요. 광고를 붙일지는 오버사피엔스 서버가 정하고, 광고를 켜고 끄는 것도 서버 설정이에요.

• 무엇이 가나요: 광고를 고르려고 광고 회사에 보내는 것은 ① 이번 질문에서 AI가 뽑은 낱말(많아야 8개), ② 나라(접속 IP로 정한 나라 코드), ③ 언어, ④ 요청마다 새로 만드는 무작위 번호예요. 질문 전체·답·계정 번호·기기 번호는 보내지 않아요. 다만 4절에 적은 대로 Cloudflare가 사용자의 접속 IP 주소를 요청에 붙일 수 있어요.
• 몸·마음 이야기에는 광고를 붙이지 않아요. 질문을 먼저 읽는 AI가 그 말이 몸·마음 이야기인지 판단하고, 둘 다 아닐 때만 서버가 광고 회사를 불러요. 판단이 없으면 부르지 않아요. 건강 앱 값·몸 기록·마음 기록은 광고 회사로 가지 않아요.
• 받는 회사: Thrads Corp (Thrad, 미국 · contact@thrad.ai). Thrad는 여러 광고 구매 회사에 경매를 붙여 광고를 고르므로, 위의 값이 그 회사들에게도 갈 수 있어요.
• 광고를 봤다는 신호도 서버가 광고 회사에 보내요. 폰이 광고 회사에 직접 닿는 것은 광고를 눌러 열 때뿐이에요. 광고 그림은 받지 않아요(글 광고만).
• 왜 이 광고가 보이나요: 광고 모서리의 「···」 › 「왜 이 광고가 보이나요」에서 이 광고를 고르는 데 쓴 값(낱말·나라·언어)을 앱 안에서 볼 수 있어요. 「광고 숨기기」로 그 광고를 닫고, 「광고 신고」로 support@oversapiens.com에 신고 메일을 보낼 수 있어요(보내기 전에 메일 창에서 내용을 확인해요).
• 광고 회사의 보관: Thrad의 공개 방침은 웹사이트 방문자 정보만 다뤄서, 광고 요청으로 받은 값을 얼마나 두는지는 확인하지 못했어요. 확인하면 이 절에 적을게요.
• 광고를 받지 않으려면: 유료 등급이면 앱이 광고를 요청하지 않아요.

• Running: while you run we record distance, pace and route. The route stays on this device and in the Health app and, once you sign in, syncs encrypted. Route coordinates never go to the AI — it sees only distance and pace.
• AI directions: if you allow location, AI directions use where you are now as the starting point. The coordinates go only to Apple Maps; the AI receives only distance and time, such as "1.2 km, about 15 minutes on foot to X".
• In-app browser: if a web page asks for your location, your iPhone asks you first. If you allow it, the location goes to that website; Oversapiens does not receive it.
• Turning it off: iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › Oversapiens. The rest of the app keeps working.
• Location-use record: each time location is used (recording a run · saving a running route to the Health app · importing workout routes from the Health app · AI directions), the app automatically notes on this device when, for which feature, and where the location came from and went. It never notes coordinates. You can see it in Settings › Privacy › Location use record, and opening it is noted too. Entries are deleted after 6 months, and those obtained from iPhone location are erased at once if you turn off location permission (Korea's Location Information Act, Articles 16(2) and 24(3)–(4)).
• Our commitments on location-based services (contact, your rights, and why and how long we keep location information) are in the "Location-based services" section of the Terms of Service.

• 러닝: 러닝할 때 거리·페이스·경로를 기록해요. 경로는 이 기기와 건강 앱에 남고, 로그인하면 암호화된 채 동기화돼요. 경로 좌표는 AI로 가지 않아요 — AI는 거리·페이스만 봐요.
• AI 길 찾기: 위치 권한을 허용했다면 AI 길 찾기가 지금 위치를 출발지로 써요. 좌표는 애플 지도에만 가고, AI에는 「○○까지 걸어서 1.2km · 약 15분」 같은 거리·시간만 가요.
• 앱 안 브라우저: 웹 페이지가 위치를 물으면 아이폰이 허락을 물어요. 허락하면 위치는 그 웹사이트로 가고, 오버사피엔스는 받지 않아요.
• 끄는 법: 아이폰 설정 › 개인정보 보호 및 보안 › 위치 서비스 › 오버사피엔스. 위치를 꺼도 앱의 나머지는 그대로 쓸 수 있어요.
• 위치 사용 기록: 위치를 쓸 때마다(러닝 기록 · 러닝 경로를 건강 앱에 저장 · 건강 앱의 운동 경로 가져오기 · AI 길 찾기) 언제·어떤 기능에·어디서 얻어 어디로 보냈는지를 이 기기에 자동으로 적어요. 좌표는 적지 않아요. 설정 › 프라이버시 › 위치 사용 기록에서 볼 수 있고, 연 것도 기록에 남아요. 6개월 두고 지우며, 위치 권한을 끄면 아이폰 위치로 얻은 기록을 곧바로 지워요(위치정보법 제16조 제2항 · 제24조 제3항·제4항).
• 위치기반서비스에 관한 약속(연락처·권리·위치정보를 두는 목적과 기간)은 이용약관의 「위치기반서비스」 절에 있어요.

Once you sign in, your records are encrypted on this device and synced between devices on the same account. You can turn this off in Settings › Sync.

• What syncs: schedule and plans; sleep, meal, workout and body records (including running routes); mind records; AI conversations; memories and profile; actions the AI took; settings; Screen Time preferences; in-app browser bookmarks, history and site rules; notes; files you create (photos, test results, proof photos).
• What never syncs: saved passwords, AI company API keys, app lock, location permission, and the list of apps Screen Time blocks.
• Who can read it: records are locked on the device before upload, and the key lives only in your iCloud Keychain (or your recovery code). The Oversapiens server knows only the ciphertext, its size and order, and cannot open the contents.
• Deleting: Settings › Sync › Delete sync data on the server, or Settings › Account › Delete account.

로그인하면 기록을 이 기기에서 암호화해 같은 계정의 기기끼리 동기화해요. 설정 › 동기화에서 끌 수 있어요.

These requests go straight from your phone, not through the Oversapiens server.

• Address-bar suggestions: as you type in the in-app browser's address bar, the letters go to the search engine you chose (Google, DuckDuckGo or Bing) to fetch suggestions, without cookies.
• Site icons: if a site you visit does not provide an icon, its address is sent to Google to fetch one.
• Notion link previews: when the Notion tool in the in-app browser builds a link preview, the link address is sent to embed.ly.
• Apple: Sign in with Apple, payments, push notifications and Maps (start and end coordinates for directions) are received by Apple under Apple's policy.
• An AI company you connect: requests to a ChatGPT account or to a company you connect with your own API key.

아래 요청은 오버사피엔스 서버를 거치지 않고 폰에서 곧바로 가요.

• 주소창 검색 제안: 앱 안 브라우저 주소창에 글자를 치면, 고른 검색 엔진(구글·덕덕고·빙)에 그 글자를 보내 제안을 받아요. 쿠키 없이 보내요.
• 사이트 아이콘: 방문한 사이트가 아이콘을 주지 않으면 구글에 그 사이트 주소를 보내 아이콘을 받아요.
• 노션 링크 미리보기: 앱 안 브라우저에서 노션 도구가 링크 미리보기를 만들 때 그 링크 주소를 embed.ly에 보내요.
• 애플: 애플 로그인, 결제, 푸시 알림, 지도(길 찾기 출발·도착 좌표)는 애플이 받고 애플 방침을 따라요.
• 직접 연결한 AI 회사: ChatGPT 계정이나 자기 API 키로 붙인 회사로 가는 요청.

• Processed with your consent: health and mind records (sensitive information — Korea's Personal Information Protection Act, Article 23), the values sent to the ad company on the free plan (section 7), and location information (Korea's Location Information Act, Article 19) — we ask for these on the consent screen before first use. How much you used a purchase, shared with Apple during a refund review (section 13 — Personal Information Protection Act, Articles 17 and 28-8) — you turn this on separately on the purchase screen or in Settings › Privacy.
• Processed to perform our contract with you: everything else — your account, the app records sent to the AI company to produce answers, search, sync, and usage and payment records. We process these because they are needed to provide the service you asked to use (Personal Information Protection Act, Article 15(1)(4)).
• Kept because the law requires it: payment and supply records (Korea's E-Commerce Act, Article 6, and its Enforcement Decree, Article 6).

• 동의로 처리하는 것: 건강·마음 기록(민감정보 — 개인정보 보호법 제23조), 무료 이용 중 광고 회사로 보내는 값(7절), 위치 정보(위치정보법 제19조) — 이 셋은 처음 쓸 때 동의 화면에서 받아요. 환불 심사 때 Apple에 알리는 사용 정도(13절 — 개인정보 보호법 제17조·제28조의8) — 결제 화면이나 설정 › 프라이버시에서 따로 켜요.
• 계약을 지키려고 처리하는 것: 그 밖의 정보 — 계정, AI 답을 만들려고 AI 회사에 보내는 앱 기록, 검색, 동기화, 사용량·결제 기록. 사용자가 쓰겠다고 한 서비스를 제공하는 데 필요해서 처리해요(개인정보 보호법 제15조 제1항 제4호).
• 법이 보관하라고 하는 것: 결제·공급 기록(전자상거래법 제6조, 같은 법 시행령 제6조).

These companies do only the work we hand them. Because personal information leaves Korea to reach them, we list everything Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (Article 28-8(2)) asks us to tell you. We transfer to them because the processing or storage is needed to perform our contract with you, and we disclose it in this policy (Article 28-8(1)(3)).

• How to refuse, and what happens: if you do not agree on the consent screen before first use, nothing is sent to the AI, but you cannot start the app. You can agree without health and mind records and still use the app as usual (section 5). After agreeing you can hold back each kind with the switches in section 4. What goes to TypeSafe stops when you turn off "Automatic conversation organization"; the app and the AI keep working with it off. Sync can be turned off in Settings › Sync (the app requires sign-in).
• Protection commitments: we have a Data Processing Addendum with Baseten — it commits Baseten not to use the data beyond the task we give it, not to train on it, and to keep security measures in place. The companies Baseten passes work on to are listed at https://trust.baseten.co/. We will add Cloudflare's, Serper's and TypeSafe's contract terms to this section once confirmed. Personal data from Switzerland goes to Cloudflare under its Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification, and to Baseten and TypeSafe as transfers directly needed to perform our contract with you (Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, Article 17(1)(b)).
• AI companies you connect yourself (ChatGPT → OpenAI, United States; a company you connect with your own API key) are not our service providers but your choice, and their own policies apply. The consent screen shows what we know about whether they keep or train on what they receive.

아래 회사들은 우리가 맡긴 일만 해요. 개인정보가 한국 밖으로 가는 곳이라, 법(개인정보 보호법 제28조의8 제2항)이 알리라고 한 것을 모두 적어요. 이 회사들로 옮기는 근거는 「사용자와의 계약을 이행하려고 처리를 맡기거나 보관하는 경우」로서 이 방침에 공개하는 것이에요(같은 조 제1항 제3호).

• 거부하는 법과 그 결과: 처음 쓸 때 동의 화면에서 동의하지 않으면 AI로 아무것도 보내지 않지만, 앱을 시작할 수 없어요. 건강·마음 기록은 빼고 동의할 수 있고, 그래도 앱은 그대로 쓸 수 있어요(5절). 동의한 뒤에는 4절의 스위치로 종류별로 막을 수 있어요. TypeSafe로 가는 것은 「대화 자동 정리」를 끄면 멈추고, 꺼도 앱과 AI는 그대로 쓸 수 있어요. 동기화는 설정 › 동기화에서 끌 수 있어요(앱은 로그인해야 쓸 수 있어요).
• 보호 약속: Baseten과는 데이터 처리 부록(DPA)을 맺었어요 — 맡긴 일 밖에서 쓰지 않고, 학습에 쓰지 않고, 보안 조치를 지킨다는 약속이에요. Baseten이 다시 일을 맡기는 곳은 https://trust.baseten.co/ 의 하위 처리자 목록에 있어요. Cloudflare·Serper·TypeSafe의 계약 조건은 확인하는 대로 이 절에 적을게요. 스위스에서 오는 개인정보는 Cloudflare가 스위스-미국 데이터 프라이버시 프레임워크 인증으로, Baseten과 TypeSafe는 계약 이행에 직접 필요한 전송(스위스 개인정보보호법 제17조 제1항 b호)으로 옮겨요.
• 직접 연결한 AI 회사(ChatGPT → OpenAI, 미국 · 자기 API 키로 붙인 회사)는 우리가 맡긴 곳이 아니라 사용자가 고른 곳이에요. 그 회사의 방침을 따라요. 동의 화면은 그 회사가 받은 내용을 보관하거나 학습에 쓸 수 있는지 아는 대로 보여 줘요.

The only things we give to companies for their own purposes (rather than work we hand them) are these:

우리가 맡긴 일이 아니라 그 회사 자신의 일에 쓰이도록 주는 것은 아래뿐이에요.

법이 요구하면 정보를 내줄 수 있어요. 그런 경우 법이 막지 않는 한 사용자에게 알려요.

• Recovery history: the storage behind the Oversapiens server (Cloudflare Durable Objects) keeps 30 days of change history so it can be rolled back after an outage, and we cannot delete from that history selectively. Cloudflare states it can "restore … to any point in time in the past 30 days".
  • AI answer text is stored only locked with a key the app makes fresh for each request, and the server never keeps that key — so answer text left in the recovery history cannot be opened, even by us (Korea's PIPA Enforcement Decree, Article 16(1)(1) proviso — made impossible to restore).
  • Account records (usage totals, consent times, purchase records and the like) must be readable by the server without the app (for example, to answer Apple's refund notifications), so they cannot be locked this way. Deleted account records can remain in the recovery history for up to 30 days, after which the storage overwrites them. We open that history only to recover from an outage, and never to bring back a deleted account.
• How we delete: on the server, deletion cannot be undone; on the device, the app removes the files and stores.

• 복구 기록: 오버사피엔스 서버의 저장소(Cloudflare Durable Objects)는 장애 때 되돌리려고 지난 30일의 변경 기록을 스스로 두고, 우리가 이 기록만 골라 지울 수는 없어요. Cloudflare 원문: 「restore … to any point in time in the past 30 days」.
  • AI 답 글은 앱이 요청마다 새로 만든 열쇠로 잠가서만 적고, 그 열쇠는 서버 어디에도 두지 않아요. 그래서 복구 기록 안에 남은 답 글은 우리도 열 수 없어요(개인정보 보호법 시행령 제16조 제1항 제1호 단서 — 복원이 불가능하도록).
  • 계정 기록(사용량 숫자·동의 시각·구매 기록 등)은 서버가 앱 없이도 읽어야 해서(Apple의 환불 알림에 답할 때 등) 이렇게 잠글 수 없어요. 지운 계정 기록은 최대 30일 동안 복구 기록 안에 남고, 그 뒤 저장소가 스스로 덮어써요. 우리는 장애 복구 말고는 이 기록을 열지 않고, 지운 계정을 되살리는 데 쓰지 않아요.
• 지우는 방법: 서버에서는 복구할 수 없게 지우고, 기기에서는 앱이 파일과 저장소를 지워요.

You can see, correct and delete your personal information, ask us to stop processing it, and withdraw consent.

• Directly in the app: Settings › Account › Delete account (including your account records on the server) · Settings › Manage my data › Reset app data (this device only — sync data on the server and your account remain) / Delete all conversations · Settings › Sync › Delete sync data on the server / Turn off sync · the switches in Settings › Privacy (including refund-review sharing) · Settings › Privacy › Location use record (to view it) · location, Health and camera permissions in iPhone Settings.
• Anything else: write to privacy@oversapiens.com with the "Account number" from Settings › Account (our server does not store email addresses, so we find your account by that number). We act within 10 days of receiving your request and tell you the result; if we refuse, we tell you why and how to object.
• You may also ask through a representative, who must show they are authorised.

• 그 밖의 요청: 설정 › 계정의 「계정 번호」를 적어 privacy@oversapiens.com으로 보내 주세요(서버는 이메일을 저장하지 않아 계정 번호로 계정을 찾아요). 요청을 받은 날부터 10일 안에 처리하고 결과를 알려 드려요. 거절하면 그 이유와 이의를 내는 법을 함께 알려 드려요.
• 대리인이 대신 요청할 수도 있어요. 그때는 위임받았다는 것을 보여 주셔야 해요.

Oversapiens has no permission it cannot work without. Everything below is optional; if you do not allow it, the rest of the app still works. Your iPhone asks for each permission separately the first time you use the feature.

오버사피엔스에는 꼭 필요한 접근 권한이 없어요. 아래는 모두 선택이고, 허용하지 않아도 앱의 나머지는 쓸 수 있어요. 각 권한은 처음 그 기능을 쓸 때 아이폰이 따로 물어요.

• Oversapiens is a service that runs on generative AI. Answers, summaries, suggestions and screen judgements are produced by generative AI and can be wrong, so please check anything important yourself.
• The AI suggests and organises; it does not on its own make decisions that significantly affect your rights or obligations (such as hiring or loan screening). Alarm-photo judging only helps an alarm rule you set, and if it cannot judge, the alarm still stops.
• We do not train AI on your records. The "AI training improvement" consent in Settings currently records only your preference and sends nothing.

• 오버사피엔스는 생성형 AI를 이용해 운영되는 서비스예요. 답·요약·제안·판정 글은 생성형 AI가 만들어요. 틀릴 수 있으니 중요한 결정은 직접 확인해 주세요.
• AI는 제안하고 정리할 뿐, 사용자의 권리나 의무에 중대한 영향을 주는 결정(채용·대출 심사 같은 것)을 스스로 내리지 않아요. 알람 사진 판정은 사용자가 정한 알람 규칙을 돕는 것이고, 판정을 못 하면 알람은 그대로 꺼져요.
• 우리는 사용자의 기록으로 AI를 학습시키지 않아요. 설정의 「AI 학습 개선 동의」는 지금은 뜻만 적어 두고 아무것도 보내지 않아요.

Oversapiens is for people aged 16 and over. The consent button reads "I'm 16 or older, and I agree". We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe someone under 16 has given us information, tell us at privacy@oversapiens.com and we will delete it.

오버사피엔스는 만 16세 이상만 쓸 수 있어요. 동의 버튼이 「만 16세 이상이고, 동의해요」예요. 만 16세 미만의 개인정보를 알면서 받지 않아요. 만 16세 미만이 정보를 보냈다고 생각되면 privacy@oversapiens.com으로 알려 주세요. 지울게요.

• All traffic between the app and the server, and between the server and the companies it calls, is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Sync records are locked on the device before upload, and only you hold the key.
• Alarm proof photos sent to the AI have their location and device details removed first.
• The app lock (Face ID) and the password vault stay on this device and never sync.

• 앱과 서버 사이, 서버와 받는 회사 사이의 통신은 모두 암호화돼요(HTTPS).

The app uses no advertising or analytics cookies or trackers. Cookies in the in-app browser are left on this device by the sites you visit and are not sent to our server (when the AI sends a request to a site for you, they go only to that site). oversapiens.com uses cookie-free, anonymous aggregate statistics to see which pages are read.

앱은 광고나 분석용 쿠키·추적 도구를 쓰지 않아요. 앱 안 브라우저의 쿠키는 사용자가 방문한 사이트가 이 기기에 남기는 것이고, 우리 서버로 보내지 않아요(AI가 사용자 대신 사이트에 요청을 보낼 때는 그 사이트로만 가요). oversapiens.com은 어느 페이지를 읽는지 보려고 쿠키 없는 익명 집계 통계를 써요.
